Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin is an annual plant, very well known in many countries with warmer climate. The science has proven pumpkin pulp, as well as seeds, to be highly rich in many beneficial nutrients. These seeds are also rich in Vitamins B1, B2 and Niacin, minerals (mostly Phosphorus and Iron), as well as many other healthy and nutritive microelements, such as dietary fiber, Pectin, Folic acid, Salicylic acid and many more. Pumpkin seeds, raw or roasted, can help treat intestinal parasites.
These seeds are recommended as a safe and efficient therapy against Pinworms in children and other intestinal parasites, such as Tapeworms. They can be safely consumed by three-year-old children, pregnant women, mothers who are breast-feeding, older people, as well as patients with liver illnesses. Pumpkin seeds relieve the symptoms of patients with prostate disease who should consume it on daily basis.

Children should be given 150-200g of fresh, shelled, ground seeds, mixed with honey, while adults should take 400g in the morning, before breakfast, and half an hour later, a tablespoon of castor oil with a cup of black coffee.
